DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
Well, 'someone' requested me to bake him cookies today.
I have tons of chocolate chip cookies recipes. I picked this one for no particular reason. May be because I am chocoholic???
It turned out great, but not the best that I ever had.
If you cook it in a lesser amount of time...it'll be so soft and chewy...taste just like brownies....
But if you like it to be more crispy, increase the cooking time.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2/3 cup cocoa powder
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
METHODS:
-Preheat oven to 175 degrees C.
-Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in vanilla and eggs.
-Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Stir into the butter mixture until well blended.
-Mix in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
-Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
-Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
-Cool.
